The 40Ft Used Flat Rack Shipping Container is a heavy-duty cargo platform designed for transporting and handling oversized, overweight, tall, wide, or unusually shaped cargo that cannot be efficiently loaded into a conventional enclosed shipping container.
Unlike standard dry containers, flat racks feature an open platform with no permanent side walls or roof, allowing cargo to be loaded from the top or sides using cranes, forklifts, ramps, and other suitable lifting equipment. Depending on the unit, the end frames may be fixed or collapsible, providing additional flexibility for loading, transportation, and empty-container handling.
Used flat racks are a practical and economical solution for heavy machinery, construction equipment, industrial components, pipes, steel structures, generators, agricultural machinery, vehicles, tanks, and other project cargo.
